Sherwood has changed the wear plate and it now sticks out in one spot about 1", no problem on left hand engines but a right hand may have to grind it off.
*TECH TIP* This pump can be mounted with the inlet and outlet ports reversed no water will be pulled in if mounted incorrectly. Make sure to note your orientation before removal. FOR LEFT HAND ROTATION ENGINES ALL SUPRA/MOOMBA AND 89 UP SKI NAUTIQUE WITH PCM 40A 1.23:1 TRANSMISSION THE CAM SCREW FACES IN TOWARDS THE ENGINE (SEE THE RED ARROW IN PHOTO 2).
ALL RIGHT HAND ROTATION ENGINES THE SCREW FACES OUT.
