NGKTR5 is a direct cross reference to the AC MR43LTS. Patented V- Groove center electrode improves ignitability and reduces quenching.

The Vortec 5.0/5.7 marine engines arrived in 1996 but most manufacturers didn't start production until 1997. It is easy to tell if you have a Vortec, the intake manifold bolts will go straight down and the non Vortec are installed at an angle.
